purple monster

Just finished reading Plath's The Bell Jar.   I am ashamed i hadn't read it sooner. it's odd feeling  to read a book about a person going mad and realize that she is actually not that different from you. meaning her thought process and her behavior, of coarse she was at a  different extreme but all the same, not that different. i suppose we are all slightly mad and some of us are better at hiding it or restraining it than others. passing for normal is like an art, it's subjective and takes effort.

“I took a deep breath and listened to the old brag of my heart. I am, I am, I am.” 

loving purple paired with leopard. it is unexpected and interesting but not 'loud'.
