peplum











peplum top, satchel - asos / flats- zara/ shorts- free people



these shorts have become my favorite. granted, i don't own many shorts but out of the selected few i do have residing in my closet this pair reigns as king....queen...whichever.  they just have the capabilities to make any singular  item looks casual, to dress down any top that naturally looks as though it should be dressed up. i recently finished reading charlotte bronte's JANE EYRE, if you haven't had the pleasure of reading it, read it. it is such a wonderful love story, the character's speech my come across as verbose but it's also so eloquent. Jane is such a wonderful resilient character. The book is full of such wisdom, i was compelled to highlight and memorize  many of the  statements the characters made:




“It is in vain to say human beings ought to be satisfied with tranquillity: they must have action; and they will make it if they cannot find it. Millions are condemned to a stiller doom than mine, and millions are in silent revolt against their lot. Nobody knows how many rebellions besides political rebellions ferment in the masses of life which people earth.
